Industries saw similar advantages we could bring to the Saskatchewan bus transportation industry through our acquisition of the Thomas Bus Centre here in Regina on October 15, 1999. Both Freightliner Regina and the Thomas Bus Centre are known for long-standing commitment to quality Customer service. Before our merger, Thomas Bus Centre serviced all of Saskatchewan from its Regina branch for 20 years, while Freightliner had operated in Regina for 19 years. Our provincial Freightliner affiliates (with dealerships in Swift Current, Saskatoon, and Yorkton) join us in providing customer support throughout the province.
- We are open 7 days a week, with current shifts running until
7:00pm.
- We utilize a data based computer system that tracks, records, and recommends service requirements of each and every individual truck/bus based on time/mileage and/or hours. This custom designed system enables our service department to completely take over the tracking, organizing and dispatching of all service requirements.
- All of our technicians, parts people and sales people receive continuous, up-to-date factory training on all bus and truck chassis as well as powertrain and electrical systems. The dedication and professionalism in which this training is accomplished has earned us the recognition of, and usage by, the Saskatchewan Government Future Skills program. This commitment to training means a higher quality of service is delivered to our Customers.
- Our facilities have been specifically built well above current environmental safety standards for the disposal of hazardous wastes.
